My Greatest Accomplishment

My son is by far my greatest accomplishment in this life. I'm so incredibly proud of the gorgeous little boy he is becoming. He's so loving & cuddly...possibly because I demand kisses & cuddles all day long {that still counts right?} lol. He sleeps well, he plays well with other children & he has a special power to draw in complete strangers who want to come up & chat & play with him. I'm certainly not saying he's perfect, far from it. He's still a little punk at times, melting down in public {mainly at the jammed packed full of people post office}, having a tantrum at home because I won't let him eat an apple core out of the bin or like times when he's throwing rocks at the park & making me look like an incompetent mother when he will not listen to my requests to stop & has to be dragged away kicking & screaming.

Things certainly ARE NOT magical every day, they are really hard at times & there's many moments I have to take a deep breath, mumble to myself & count the hours down till 7.30pm when I might get a moment of silence. But there is magical moments in each day or at least each week. Those times where your toddler will come & hug you for no reason at all. Where they do something super cute, funny, special and you know you must be doing something right in this mum gig! Those moments, those are my greatest accomplishments. They make the new wrinkles, the bags under the eyes most days, the excessive kid show watching, the huge amount of coffee that must be consumed alllllll worth it! Can you relate?
